Raine Sparling (They/Them) is the founder and coordinator of Rainbow Connections, a 2SLGBTQIA+ youth mental health leadership program. Having worked and volunteered in facilitation for 8 years, they have a passion for genuine

community engagement and using storytelling as a way to create connection and change. As someone with a background in community development and engagement at the grassroots and organizational levels, Raine centres community, justice, and connection in all that they do. They are a firm believer that the first step in creating change is by daring to do our work differently and actively creating the communities we dream of being part of.

Tineke Weld (they/she) is a queer, neurodivergent community developer learning and working in Kespukwik. They engage with folks in a person-centred, compassionate way, from a basis of experience in group facilitation, and program design, and adult & youth education. As a settler in Mi'kma'ki of Dutch and British descent, Tineke is working to decolonize each facet of their work, and is dedicated to fostering spaces for queer people to be authentic, joyful, successful and safe. They are currently obtaining their MEd in Counselling at Acadia University.
